If you like the idea of the WH1000XM3 but want to spend a fraction of what they cost, some good alternatives are the Bluedio T5 headphones. These also deliver active noise canceling, and while it’s all not as good as what Sony’s headphones deliver, it’s pretty darn impressive considering the low price. Bluedio offers its headphones in three gorgeous colors and promises around 25 hours of use between charges.

OnePlus’s Bullets Wireless 2 earbuds are easily some of our favorite in-ear buds from the past year. The headphones look great, sound better than you’d expect, work with the Google Assistant, and deliver up to 10 hours of use on a single charge with some of the fastest charging speeds around. The Galaxy Buds aren’t the latest and greatest anymore and don’t have as many features as previous company offerings, but they’re still worth a look at this lower price point. The Galaxy Buds are small and lightweight, have decent battery life, and deliver good sound considering their small size.

Over the past year or two, a ton of headphone manufacturers have begun adding support for USB-C charging in their devices. There are a few outliers out there still choosing to use Micro-USB instead of USB-C, but that number is quickly falling.
If I had to choose one option from this list, it would definitely be the Sony WH-1000XM3. They feature class-leading ANC, excellent comfort, and long battery life. The sound quality is absolutely bass boosted, but it can, fortunately, be tuned in the companion Sony Headphones app.
If you’re looking for earbuds, the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ are an equally great pick. They offer great sound quality, comfort, and long battery life. The Galaxy Buds+ charge over USB-C and have support for Qi wireless charging, which adds to their values considering the price.
