Battlefield V to receive final update this summer

Well, that’s it then.
What you need to know
- Battlefield V is a first-person shooter from EA.
- It wasn’t as popular as Battlefield 1.
- The game will stop getting updates after this summer.
- You purchase Battlefield V for $30 on Amazon.
Battlefield V didn’t garner the thunderous response Battlefield 1 received, but that hasn’t stopped EA from working on new content for the game. Recently, the team released the “Into the Jungle” update that wraps up on April 29. After that, there’s going to be one more standalone content update and then it looks like the updates will stop.
Ryan McArthur, the game’s Senior Producer, said the following on EA’s website.
As you are aware, the current Battlefield V Chapter, Into the Jungle, wraps up on April 29. As we look to the future, we will release one more standalone update this summer that brings with it some new content, weapons, and game tweaks. We are targeting June for this update. We’re still tackling the challenges from working from home and will let you know how things progress for us over the next month.
The team will also focus on anti-cheat technology going forward. However, there’s a possibility that this may end in June too.
